    Vari-Volt Controls is a separate in-line power controller for most heatwand joining systems. This device controls temperature by precisely monitoring power wattage being delivered to the heatwand. The control range is between 25% and 75% of the rated wattage of the heatwand. Variation is less than 5%.

·        Once a desired temperature is achieved, the setting will accurately repeat.

·        Develop the desired control setting by experimentation using a thermometer, thermocouple, or ‘Laser-Probe’ non-contact thermometer.

·        This device is self-compensating for fluctuations in the line voltage and for changes in ambient temperature.

·        100% full wattage is available, but is not controlled. Less than 25% wattage settings are also not controlled. If an application requires control at such settings, a different wattage heatwand should be selected.
